DWS Procurement is a global team of 50+ colleagues based out of UK, Germany, US, India and the Philippines. We service all of our business globally. 


As our DWS Intern you will: 

You will get exposure to all Procurement pillars/subfunctions including: 

  • Category Management: sourcing, commercial and contractual negotiations, contracting, working very closely with our business stakeholders and Legal 
  • Strategic Supplier Relationship Management: commercial, contract and service relationship management of our key, strategic supplier partners 
  • Third Party Risk Management: pre and post deal management of risk across several risk types 
  • Outsourcing Office: central oversight and management of our outsourcing portfolio

The DWS Internship is an opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experience. Individual projects, participation in speaker sessions and networking events will all be part of the internship. Whilst you can expect a high learning curve from our Internship, you will benefit from the support of your managers and mentors along with unparalleled exposure to the world of Asset Management. This internship is an ideal way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations. Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. program the following year.

Eligibility

- You must be enrolled in your penultimate or last year of study, or on a gap year in between your Bachelor and Master’s degree.

- You must be available for between 3-6 months. There are flexible intakes available - Spring, Summer and Autumn.

- You must have advanced German language skills.

- You must have less than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience (excluding internships).
