The three month DWS Internship program is an opportunity where candidates will gain a wide range of practical experience within the division. About AFC & Compliance (CAO division) Anti Financial Crime (AFC) performs a critical role in keeping DWS' business operations as well as the global financial services clean from financial crime while serving the interests of the firm and society at large. Thus, AFC cooperates closely with regulatory authorities and also contributes to the fight against cybercrime. Areas of responsibility include adherence and policy management for anti-fraud, bribery & corruption, anti-money laundering and sanctions & embargoes. Compliance is mandated by regulators to be a fully independent control function that monitors, assesses and trains on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies, provides advice on compliance to the management body and other relevant staff, and establishes policies and processes to manage compliance risks.
